I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, offering experienced, compassionate, culturally-sensitive therapy to individuals, couples, families, and children and teens. I believe in the inherent power of each individual to heal and grow, and I see myself as a catalyst and companion along that journey. Affirming the individual's inner resources and providing tools and support, I work collaboratively with clients, as they move through life's transitions.
I also have also experience in business, education, the military, and pastoral work settings. I am a former teacher of all grade levels, a Sunday school director, a youth minister, a public speaker, a mother (both by birth and adoption) and a grandmother.
Education
Master of Arts in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from the University of San Diego. Specialized training in Mediation, EMDR, Play Therapy, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and Custody Evaluation. Graduate work, additional professional experience in Religious Studies and Spirituality.

Insurance:
While I have chosen not to be on any insurance panels, I work on a sliding scale based on income and also will provide clients with a "Super Bill" to allow them to be reimbursed by their insurance provider.
